The first time of the Stockholm tour——the palace of Stockholm

Visiting Stockholm is my dream before I come here, but it seems that I almost forget the dream as I will always try to find time shopping!
Then my friend reminded me that I should see the whole Stockholm one day, at that time I rememberred that it was my target! How can I forget that!
So just introduce the Sunday I spent with my lovely friend in the Stockholm center!

 

The palace of Stockholm

It is really fantastic I had to admit!

But it's too big for me, I spent about two hours only to visit most part of the palace inside but not the other parts of the palace! A little bit exhausted. It's not allowed to take photos inside, so I will try rememberring what it is like.

It is luxury, shining everywhere, but I'm not sure whether the wall is made of gold! And some rooms you can see the photos of the royal family, the history of the family, or even the whole history of Sweden. Also, exhibitions are everywhere, not only the things that the royal family used, even the rooms and furniture themselves! Howerver, we found that after visiting some places the rooms become so similar, actually it can't be so many people to live in such a wonderful house, but it has almost more than 200 rooms! Then they can be nothing but have the similar functions.

Like the prince has his own study, only for working, it's huge! But only for him!And you'll also find that there're many doors around that, but it's not allowed to enter so no tourists can know what's behind those doors except listening to the guide, unluckily we didn't follow a guide.

And how can you imagine that the prince had the breakfast himself, so that there's also a private room for him to had breakfast!

We walked a long way and finally found the bedroom! Strangly that there's only one bedroom, though another bedroom is just outside that huge bedroom, it's so small compare to the other rooms, we guessed that it might for the servant. Of course, it's still better than the rooms for ordinary beings.

And as a royal palace, how can it lose the big table? It's also what I saw about "ROYAL" in the film, so I was not so surprised when I saw the corridor just for a long table. There're tables everywhere, but that one is the longest, I just wondered why the table is not lied there? I could only imagine the table through the pictures in the corridor.

In addition, there're rooms for the king to receive the guests or emissaries from other countries, but I'm not sure as I heard a guide who was standing there saying about that, but I failed to make sure which room!

As a palace that has a long history, all the decorations are very retro except one medium room, it's so fresh! It's like a new room that was designed and built in recent years! And it looks like a cafe shop!
